Assalaamualaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu,
We will be holding our annual Sports Day this year on 29th June 2019 from 10 am - 1 pm. We
are delighted to invite all parents to attend and watch their children take part.
We are anticipating warm weather so please do provide your child with a sun hat, water, an
application of sun cream before they come to madrassah, and of course comfortable and
practical clothing and footwear.
Spectators areas will be around the game areas to give the children space to compete. Please feel free to bring a blanket (or picnic!) to sit on the grass.
There will be no lessons on the day, and we will be providing food and drinks for the children
so no bookbags or lunch boxes will be needed on the day. There will also be an ice cream
van arranged for free ice cream for pupils. Parents may also purchase ice cream if they
should wish to do so.
A food stall will be selling samosas and drinks for parents with 100% of donations
going to charity.
Children can be collected from their class teachers at 1:00 pm from the designated area
outside the POD 9 glass doors.
